Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta (March 28 1986). Pop singer. Lady Gaga is known worldwide. She was born in Manhattan New York United States. Her mother was Cynthia Louise Bissett vice president of mobile provider Verizon. Her father was a successful businessman Joseph Anthony Germanotta Jr. Director of an Internet-based networking company. The family she grew up with was Catholic and she grew up on the Upper East Side in Manhattan. For this reason her parents enrolled her in the Convent of the Sacred Heart an elitist and religious school. The music she has always been her passion. When she was a young girl she started to learn how to play the Piano. At the age of thirteen the first song she wrote was composed. She's performed at a variety of open mic events. The singers she admired were Queen Michael Jackson Madonna and David Bowie. When she graduated from high school she attended New York University's Tisch School of Art to study music. She did not complete her study, but left them behind to begin her musical career.
